Very Green

While I wasn’t expecting a true black, I wasn’t expecting this to just be a dark emerald color. The staining power is there, but the color is uneven on the lips and just, well… green. It takes a while to set too even with thin layers. It does smell nice though (just like rosewater and rosewater candies).

I didn't know what to expect from a black tint, but I wasn't expecting it to last this long or for it to be so dark. Of course, I bought this just before Void was released, so I'll have to get Void too. I did honestly enjoy the dark teal color it seemed to fade to as I wore it.

My goth dreams are coming true. My only regret is I bought this one week before True Black was launched. I need them both!

Exceeded expectations

I've tried a lot of black lipsticks that didn't meet the mark, so I was skeptical that a lip stain would get truly dark enough. I was pleasantly surprised! Not only was it dark as some of my lipsticks with only one layer, but it was also buildable and long lasting. I tested it over the Lilith lip stain and the green base to this canceled out the red and gave me a dark black. I tried scrubbing it off in the shower and sleeping with it on and my lips were still this neat shade of grey the next day. I highly recommend this stain!

The picture I'm attaching is after only one coat, over the Lilith stain. No filters or edits.

I really like it, but I love Void way more!
